Full Physical Authentication
When you add Authentication & Quality Control to an order, the item is sent to our warehouse for physical review before delivery. We inspect everything from an item’s packaging to its invoice - including its material, finishes, typography, stitching, serial number, and engraving - using a mix of authentication technology and 60,000+ combined hours of training. Enhanced Quality Control
After authentication, we perform enhanced quality control to ensure that an item matches its listing and will meet your expectations, reviewing its condition, colour, size, material, and adherence to our catalogue rules. Learn more about Quality Control.
Additionally, we signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) against sales of counterfeit goods online in 2024. This voluntary agreement, facilitated by the European Commission (DG Grow: Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship, and SMEs), aims to prevent counterfeit goods from being listed in online marketplaces. It follows the earlier Charter we joined as members in 2012 to fight online counterfeiting, which we signed alongside 50+ top fashion, beauty, health, and e-commerce companies.
