Shopping preferences let us know whether you’re most interested in womenswear or menswear. We use this information to personalise your experience—like showing you the most relevant homepage, emails, and recommendations.

By telling us your preference, we can tailor your browsing and communications so they feel more relevant to you. This helps you discover the items you’ll love, faster.
Is it mandatory to choose shopping preferences?
Yes, we ask all members to select their main preference between womenswear and menswear.
Want both? You can still freely browse and shop both womenswear and menswear anytime.
Looking for unisex? You’ll also find unisex pieces across both categories.
Don’t want to choose? Your preference is only used to personalize your homepage and communications. It won’t limit your browsing or shopping in any way.
How can I browse without changing my preferences?
You can always browse categories outside your saved preference. This won’t update your settings—it’s just like browsing any other category.
App: Shop Menu → Women’s homepage or Men’s homepage
Web: Navigation → Women’s homepage or Men’s homepage
When you return, your chosen preferences (within your account settings) will still apply, unless you decide to update them.
How do I change my preferences?
You can update your shopping preferences anytime.
App: Me → Shopping preferences
Web: Me Menu (click your avatar on desktop, or the tab on mobile) → Shopping preferences
We’ll then update your homepage and tailor communications to match your new choice.
I was previously seeing the Men’s Homepage. Why do I now see the Women’s Homepage?
If you were previously viewing the Men's homepage and are now seeing the Women's homepage instead, this is likely due to using an outdated version of the app that doesn't properly maintain your size and gender preferences.
Solution: Update to the latest version of the Vestiaire Collective app to ensure your homepage preferences are displayed correctly. The newest version includes improvements to how user preferences are saved and applied.
