Before publishing a listing, the description, photographs and price of the item are carefully reviewed by our team. This process can take up to ⏰ 48 hours.
When an item is physically inspected by our team here at Vestiaire Collective, it is carefully checked and compared to the published listing.
There are four possible reasons for refusal at the listing or authentication stages:
- The item is not considered to be in good enough condition for our catalogue. To find out which condition best describes your item, 🔍 click here.
- Your article does not seem to comply with the brand.
- Your listing is identical to one you've already published on Vestiaire Collective.
- The item reveals aesthetic alterations. In this case our experts will refuse the item and the buyer will be reimbursed for their order. Examples of aesthetic alterations are dyeing, added embroidery, beads or diamonds.
❗Important ❗The customisation of an item can also lead to a refusal of after-sales service by the brand, such as repairs.
💡 Good to know: If your listing has been refused, don't give up! Thousands of items are sold every day on Vestiaire Collective and the listing process takes just a few minutes. You'll be an expert in no time!
