By law, we have a 14-day change of mind return policy for all Professional Sellers.
For Direct Shipping
If you have made a sale with Direct Shipping and the buyer decides to return the item within 14 days, it will be shipped back to you directly.
For Shipping with Authentication
If you have made a sale with authentication and the buyer decides to return the item within 14 days, it will be shipped back to Vestiaire Collective to ensure it is in the same condition. We will then store it safely and help you to relist and resell the item.
Custom Duties for items returned to a B2C seller
IMPORTANT: According to our Terms & Conditions (article 10.4), if a buyer from outside your customs area purchases one of your items and decides to return it, we will cover the shipping costs. However, you will be responsible for paying the customs duties to receive the returned item. When an item is returned from outside your customs area, it is sent to the warehouse closest to the buyer, relisted on your account with a new reference, and stored according to our usual procedures.
If you want the item sent back to you, you need to reach out to our customer service & you will need to cover the additional costs directly with the transporter.
Since the addresses of the export & import warehouses are different, the return is considered a new outbound shipment, which is why customs fees apply. This policy is applicable to all professional sellers on the platform, and no exceptions can be made.
