If you have doubts about the authenticity of your item, at any time after purchase, please report it to us directly by following the steps below.
If you placed the order with Direct Shipping
On the Website: My Orders → Find the item concerned → Click Report an issue
On the App: Me → My Orders → Find the item concerned → Report an Issue
If you placed the order with Authenticated Shipping
If you purchased your item with Authenticated Shipping, please 🔍 contact us to let us know about your concerns.
What happens next?
- If we think the item needs to be checked by our experts, we’ll provide you with a prepaid shipping label so that you can ship it to us free of charge.
- Important: If we provide you with a shipping label, you must ship the item within 7 days.
What will happen to the item?
Once we receive the item, our physical authentication team will carefully check it. We aim to check all items within a maximum of 4 working days.
If our experts have no doubt as to the authenticity of the item, it will be re-listed for sale on your account. We'll safely store the item ready to be shipped to the buyer, and you'll receive all proceeds from the sale, minus our usual selling fee. Alternatively, we can ship it back to you at your request.
If we have any doubt about the authenticity of the item, or if the item is not as described by the seller, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund, including all fees. You will receive your refund within 5 working days, or within 24 hours if payment was made via PayPal.
What about the seller?
We’re committed to creating an authentic community on Vestiaire Collective. If a seller’s item is found to have compromised that commitment, their Seller Status will be negatively impacted and any Seller Badge they hold could be withdrawn. Repeated issues could result in the closure of the seller’s account.
