The Make an Offer function allows potential buyers to make a lower offer on an item - so if you're open to a little haggling, this option is perfect for you!
As the seller, it's completely up to you whether you activate this function or not - you're the boss!
Just so you know, the offer made by a buyer can only be up to 30% lower than the price you have set for the sale. So if you’re selling a jacket for £100, the offer made by the potential buyer will never be lower than £70.
To allow buyers to Make an Offer
On the Website: My Account → On Sale → Negotiation in Progress → Settings
You can also choose how you want to receive notifications about any offers that are made, so you'll always be up to date.
When you receive an offer, you have up to ⏰ 48 hours to accept, decline or make a counter-offer.
💡 Good to know - If a member makes an offer, your item will remain on display to other members browsing the site at the original price.
