The Make an Offer function allows potential buyers to make a lower offer on an item - so if you're open to a little haggling, this option is perfect for you!
As the seller, it's completely up to you whether you activate this function or not - you're the boss.
The offer made by a buyer can only be up to 30% lower than the price you have set for the sale. So if you’re selling a jacket for $100, the offer made by the potential buyer will never be lower than $70.
Is the buyer service fee included when a buyer makes me an offer?
No, the buyer service fee is not included in the offer price. The amount you will earn is displayed in the negotiation area.
At any time you can choose to:
- Turn on Make an Offer for all your items
- Turn Make an Offer off for all your items
- Choose individual items on which to activate Make an Offer
Here’s how to change your preferences:
On the App: Me → My items for sale → Click the ⚙️ icon
On the Website: My items for Sale → My Offers - Settings
Then click Set up/Configure
Then choose the options you prefer!
When you receive an offer, you have up to 48 hours to accept, decline or make a counter-offer.
If you accept the offer, the buyer has 24 hours to complete their order.
If you make a counter-offer which is accepted by the buyer, they have one hour to complete their order before the offer expires.
💡 Good to know - If a member makes an offer, your item will remain on display to other members browsing the site at the original price.
