We take authenticity very seriously. If your buyer has doubts about the authenticity of an item you have sold and shipped via Direct Shipping, we systematically have the item shipped to the nearest Vestiaire Collective warehouse so it can be checked by our Quality Control team.
Whilst we do this, your payment will be placed on hold and we’ll let you know the outcome of the investigation within 7 days.
If, after being checked, we conclude that the item matches the brand criteria perfectly, you’ll be paid the following Wednesday, and the payment will then be visible in your account within 7 working days.
If the item doesn’t match the brand criteria, the sale will be cancelled, and your buyer will be automatically reimbursed.
❗Important ❗Selling an item which does not fit the description you provided or match the brand criteria negatively impacts your seller stats, and your Trusted or Expert Seller badge will automatically be withdrawn.
