Firstly, congratulations on your sale! Time to get your item ready to be shipped.
Follow these simple steps to make sure your item arrives in top condition.
Clean your item
Whether it's a watch, shoes or a canvas bag, we recommend that you carefully clean your item before shipping it. If you’re sending clothes, ensure they're washed and ironed. Clean the soles of shoes, or change the battery of a watch. This step reduces the risk that the price of your item will be lowered, or that the item will be rejected by our Quality Control team.
Pack with care
Choose sustainable packing materials that will properly protect the item you're sending. Don't choose a box that is too small or large, and fill any empty space inside the package with suitable packing material. If your item arrives damaged and the packaging is found to be inadequate, we cannot guarantee compensation.
Remember! Only send one item per package. Each item has to be sent in its own parcel and marked with its own Shipping Label. Failure to do this will mean we can't provide any compensation for losses.
Include all the components mentioned in your description
Don't forget to include any additional items like a dust bag, authenticity certificate or even a nice message to your buyer. If you're sending the package to us at Vestiaire Collective, ensure these items are easily visible.
Download your Shipping Label
For most countries, Vestiaire Collective provides a prepaid shipping label available for download from your account. If you want to find out if Vestiaire Collective covers the shipping costs of your item, just 🔍 click here.
Once you have 🔍 downloaded your shipping label, it can take up to 1 hour for the label to be activated in the carrier's system. If you are planning on arranging a pick-up time, you may need to wait a short time after downloading the shipping label before arranging your time slot.
❗Important ❗If Vestiaire has provided you with a shipping label, you must ship your item within 7 days. If you do not ship the sold item within this time, the sale will be cancelled and your buyer refunded.
We send your Shipping Label as an attachment in your order confirmation email, but you can also download it from your account. Here's how to do that:
On the App: Me → My Items → Sold Items
On the website: My Account → Orders & Sales → Sold Items
Click on the item concerned to find its shipping label. Download, print and then stick the Shipping Label on your parcel where it is flat and easily visible.
Your item is now perfectly packaged and ready to be shipped!
