If we get in touch with you after completing our Quality Control checks to suggest a lower price for an item you recently ordered, it means that during their checks the team has found a reason to reduce the price slightly. This might be because the condition is not quite as advertised, or there is a small flaw, for example.
So you have all the details, we’ll send you a Quality Control report so you are fully aware of the situation with your item, and can make an informed decision as to whether or not to accept the new price.
When we make a new price offer, you need to accept or decline it.
We’ll provide you with all the instructions via email, but you can also do this in your account:
On the App: Me → My orders
On the Website: See my Account → Orders and sales → Order history
Here’s what happens next
- If you decline the new price, your order will be fully refunded
- If the seller declines the new price, you have ⏰ 14 days to purchase the item at the original price
- If the offer is accepted by both parties, the order will proceed as normal
What about the price difference?
If the lower price is accepted by both parties, you will receive a voucher for the difference between the old and the new prices, which you can then use against your next Vestiaire Collective order.
